Lipatov: Ukraine and Russia essential for Europe's energy safety, 俄罗斯下议院能源委员会

Yuri Lipatov, Chairman of Russian State Duma Committee for Energy, and Alexander Babakov, deputy Chairman of Russian State Duma, met their colleagues from the Supreme Rada of Ukraine to discuss the prospects of Russia-Ukraine energy cooperation

As Lipatov announced at the meeting with Ukraine's parliamentary delegation, "Cooperation of Russia and Ukraine is essential for Europe's energy safety: we can provide a real energy safety system for Europe".

Lipatov also mentioned that "Members of the Energy Committees of the Russian State Duma and the Supreme Rada of Ukraine, respectively, have discussed their prospective energy cooperation and a wide range of issues and suggestions from Ukraine for bilateral energy cooperation".
