Meeting of the working group for reconstruction of Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP (JSC RusHydro) including Stanislav Svetlitsky, Deputy Minister of Energy, Vasily Zubakin, acting Chairman of the Board of RusHydro, Andrey Malyshev, Secretary of the Commission for the HPP disaster investigation, heads of subcontractor companies and members of the Parliament Commission, took place on October 7.The meeting focused on the progress of reconstruction works, production of equipment for full reconstruction of the HPP, stable work of hydro equipment during the winter of 2009-2010, as well as on social issues.
Emergency elimination is completely over and currently reconstruction works are in progress. Deliveries of the required constructions and all the related works are going according to the schedule.
According to Stanislav Svetlitsky, reconstruction plan of Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP envisages full completion of works by December 2014, including supplies of 10 hydro equipment units. JSC RusHydro is to present the Government with the costs and main parameters of reconstruction works. Deputy Minister also noted that Power Machines is the supplier of the major part of the equipment; the federal authorities and RusHydro attribute especial importance to the quality and reliability of the equipment and to the transparency of pricing.
