A delegation of French senators headed by Gerard Cesar, deputy Chairman of the Committee for Economy, Sustainable Growth and Territory Development of the Senate of France, made a visit to Moscow and met with representatives of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Energy of Russia on September 3, 2009.Both parties discussed issues of energy partnership including bilateral cooperation in energy safety and efficiency.
The parties considered different opportunities of cooperation between France and Russia in the respective areas.
