TNK-BP has put into developing Kulaginskoe field in Orenburg region, TNK-BP

Sorochinskneft (part of TNK-BP group) in August has put into development Kulaginskoe field with reserves of about 1 million tons.

The company launched the trial exploitation well number 1 with an initial production rate of 30 tons per day to assess the production capabilities and develop a strategy for the well for further development of the field, said the head of the mining Sorochinskneft Arkady Popov.

Kulaginskoe field, located in the district of Orenburg region Novosergievskogo, was acquired in March 2011. As of 2011 geological reserves come to 929 thousand tons

TNK-BP is implementing a large-scale investment program for Orenburg, and plans to spend more than $ 900 million to develop infrastructure in the region in 2012, which is the second largest region for production in the company.
