Lipatov: 19th session of Commission for Economy Modernization to work out a future action plan, State Duma Committee for Energy

According to Yuri Lipatov, Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee for Energy, "Sessions of the Commission for Economy Modernization in 2010 were focused on energy saving and development of the regional energy efficiency, improvement of the legislation to create favorable investment climate, innovative development of the defense sector, development of professional training, venture funds, development of digital broadcasting and new innovative projects".
On Dec 14, Lipatov is taking part in the 19th session of the Commission for Economy Modernization at the Russian Innovations Forum in Skolkovo.

The Commission for Economy Modernization was created on May 20, 2009, with sessions held once a month. The first session defined five priorities: increase of energy efficiency, nuclear technologies, space technologies, medical technologies, strategic information technologies.
