Medvedev and Hu Jing Tao announce termination of Russia-China pipeline, Government of Russia

Dmitry Medvdev, President of Russia, and Hu Jing Tao, Chairman of the Government of China, concluded a round of talks on, among other issues, the energy prospects between the two countries. Cooperation in energy efficiency, using renewable energy sources and power grids has been included in the Russian-Chinese agenda. The parties also stress new hi-tech projects in nuclear energy.
A statement on comprehensive deepening of the Russian-Chinese partnerships and strategic cooperation reflects the results of the talks.

The Russian and Chinese leader witnessed signing a few documents on Russian-Chinese cooperation in different spheres.

After the talks, Dmitry Medvdev and Hu Jing Tao participated in the official ceremony of finishing the construction of Russia-China pipeline.
