Alexey Miller and Jurgen Hambrecht discuss the prospects for joint projects in Eastern Russia, Gazprom

А working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom and Dr. Jurgen Hambrecht, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of BASF SE, took place on June 11 in Ludwigshafen.
The parties addressed the current issues related to the joint projects. They highly praised the progress with cooperation between Gazprom and BASF/Wintershall Holding within the development of the Yuzhno-Russkoye field and block A1 of the Achimov deposits in the Urengoy field, as well as the offshore Nord Stream gas pipeline construction.

Participants of the meeting highlighted the successful interaction in experience exchange and staff training, sci-tech cooperation, gas chemistry, and discussed the prospects for joint projects in Eastern Russia.
