As part of the visit of Prime Minister Vladimir Putin to China, Alexey Miller, CEO of Gazprom, and Jiang Jiemin, President of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), signed Framework Agreement on natural gas supply from Russia to China on the basis of the previously signed agreements on October 13 in BeijingAs the parties reiterated, high pace of the Eastern Gas Program of Gazprom created favorable conditions to further deepen cooperation in the gas sector and sign a long-term gas supply contract from Russia to China.
