Gazprom buys 51% of SeverEnergia, Gazprom

Today Gazprom has finished a deal for buying 51% of SeverEnergia. Amount of the deal is about 1.6 bln USD.

SeverEnergia shares are going to be distributed among Gazprom (51%), the Italian partners - 49% (through an ENI-Enel company, with 60% owned by ENI and 40% owned by Enel).



New management boards of SeverEnergia and its subsidiaries were formed, with Gazprom holding the majority of positions. Gazprom representatives will be appointed for top management positions in the executive bodies of SeverEnergia.
