Gazprom delegation visits China, Gazprom

Beijing hosted today a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Jiang Jiemin, President of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). The meeting was held within the preparation for the Russian Prime Minister’s visit to the People’s Republic of China (PRC).
The parties discussed the preliminary terms and conditions of the potential gas supply agreement from Russia to the PRC.
In particular, a common feeling was expressed that the rapid execution of the Eastern Gas Program by Gazprom created favorable conditions to develop further cooperation in the gas sector.
