Preventive treatment works on Yamal-Europe gas pipeline start on September 1, Gazprom

Preventive treatment works on Yamal-Europe gas pipeline are starting on September 1 (16:00 Moscow time).The works will be going synchronously in Russia, Poland and Germany. Due to that, gas transport will be suspended up to 30 hours through the pipeline. The works have been agreed in advance with all the interested parties in December 2008.
Gas supply to the consumers will be compensated by increased supplies through the territory of Ukraine.
