Tyumen Techno-Park to hold O&G Innovation Technologies forum in May, Siberian Innovative Center for Oil and Gas (Tekhnopark)

The “Innovative Technologies in XXI century. Investments 2009. Intellectual Property” forum will take place in Russia’s oil and gas capital, Tyumen, from the 26th to the 29th of May 2009.
The exhibition aims at promoting information exchange in the sphere R&D and innovations for the oil and gas sector and related industries. Organized by JSK Western Siberian Innovative Center for Oil and Gas, the Council of municipalities of the Tyumen Region Association and the Tyumen Regional Council of Union Society of Inventors, it will focus on the following subjects: new technologies and innovations in the sphere of geological exploration, drilling and production, transportation and refining, as well as development, designing and construction of production prototypes of oil and gas equipment and modern upgrading programs for the specialists in the fuel and energy complex.
Participants will showcase their cutting-age technologies and innovations for the fuel and energy complex;
machine-building, power and transport; construction; agriculture; housing and utilities infrastructure; and medicine, health ad social service;
The event has the support of the Governments of Tyumen Region, Khanty-Mansyisk and Yamalo-Nenets autonomous regions as well as the Administration of the city of Tyumen. The three entities, extending from the Kazakhstan border to Arctic, are the most important oil and gas region of the Russian Federation.
Tyumen technopark was created to strengthen the position of the Tuymen oil and gas complex on the global market.
