MRSK Holding

MRSK (IDGC-Interregional Distribution Grid Company) Holding is a management company operating in the electricity sector of the Russian Federation and comprising interregional distribution grid companies, research and development institutes, design and construction institutes, and construction and sales companies. About 100 Interregional Distribution Grid Companies affiliates are located in 69 constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

MRSK Holding’s property portfolio comprises shareholdings of 47 joint-stock subsidiaries and dependent companies, including controlling interest in 11 operating distribution grid companies. Shares in Interregional Distribution Grid Companies Holding are held by more than 300 thousand shareholders, including the Government (about 53%), Gazprom (more than 10%), and other corporate entities and individuals.
The total spread of networks of MRSK Holding’s companies exceeds 2.3 million kilometers. The total power transmission in 2008 was 695 billion kWh.
