System Operator of the Unified Energy System of Russia (SO UES) was registered on February 6, 2008 (formerly - System Operator - Central Dispatch Unit of the Unified Energy System).Main tasks of SO UES are to manage the operation of Russia’s energy system, support the efficient functioning of the electricity (capacity) market, provide compliance with technical requirements and standard quality rates and provide centralized operational and technological management of the power system.
