Enel Russia

The Enel Group is the first foreign company to enter the Russian electricity market. It holds 55.86% of OGK-5, a company that owns four thermal power plants in different regions of the country, with total installed power of 8,183 MW.
SeverEnergia, the consortium in which Enel has a 40% stake, won the tender for the acquisition of assets from Artikgas, Urengoil, and Neftetechnologia, amounting to a total of 400 billion cubic meters of gas reserves.
Enel’s 49.5% stake in RusEnergoSbyt underpins its presence in energy trading, with a market share amounting to about 4% of the electricity demanded by the Russian market.
Enel has also signed a cooperation agreement with RosAtom, in the nuclear sector.
In distribution, the Group is installing electricity meters across the entire province of Belgorod, on the border of Ukraine.
