Murmansk Commercial Seaport JSC

Murmansk Commercial Seaport JSC was established in 1994 on base of a public enterprise and nowadays constitutes the biggest company in Murmansk.

Murmansk Commercial Seaport has 13 berths and is equipped with modern handling facilities. The main range of cargoes handled by JSC MCS comprises non-ferrous metals and alloys (aluminum, copper, nickel), rolled ferrous metals, coal in bulk, apatite concentrate in bulk, alumina in bulk, scrap and iron ore pellets in bulk, chemical products in bags and big-bags, construction materials, foodstuff, technological equipment, container cargoes.

Murmansk Commercial seaport is the greatest and the only big trans-shipment point of coal in the North of country exported mainly to the Western Europe, in particular Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Great Britain. Cargo turnover in March 2009 reached 1.3 mln t.
