Management Company ESTAR, Ltd (Electric Steel of Russia) was established in July, 2005 with only two fixed assets - Novosibirsk Metallurgical Works named after Kuzmin and Electrometallurgical Works in the Rostov region which had been under construction.

Today, ESTAR Group of Companies comprises Novosibirsk Metallurgical Works named after Kuzmin, Zlatoust Metallurgical Works, Nytva Metallurgical Works, Volgograd Small Diameter Pipe Works (Volgograd), Engels Pipe Works (Engels, the Saratov Region), Metallurgical Works «Steel Profile» (Novosibirsk), Trading House ESTAR, Scrap Production Plant “Lomprom” and Electrometallurgical Works (Rostov region).

Steel production inside the Group is effected by three divisions: long products (commercial bars, rebars and wire rods), tubes and pipes division and special steels (flat and long bars).
