Timan Oil & Gas PLC is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company with its main assets in the Timan-Pechora region of Western Russia and the Caspian basin.Timan operates the Nizhnechutinskoye (NGPT) and Khudayelskoye (KNG) fields in Timan-Pechora. Its independently-evaluated reserves mount to MMbbls 191,300 of proved and probable reserves in the Nizhnechutinskoye Field, and 147,600 MMbbls of contingent reserves in the Khudayelskoye Field.
In addition, through its 80 % ownership of Geotermneftegas ("Geoterm"), Timan Oil & Gas Plc has an interest in two licenses over exploration blocks in the Caspian Sea which are in close proximity to Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan Republic.
