TGC-8 (Southern Generation Company)
TGC-8 (Southern Generation Company) was founded on March 22, 2005. TGC-8 is the largest power company in the Southern Federal Region. Today TGC-8 is one of the major heat producers in the south of Russia. In terms of economy, TGC-8 is one of the five Russian power generation leaders.The installed electric capacity of TGC-8 is 3,601.8 MW and thermal capacity — 13,381 Gcal/h. TGC-8 services over 450,000 sq. km with a population of 18.5 mln people. Subsidiary network covers Astrakhan, Volgograd, Rostov, Krasnodar, Stavropol regions and the Dagestan Republic.
Shareholder structure: Lukoil 76.44%, TGC-8 minorities - 12.21%, RAO UES minorities - 11.35%. Shares traded on RTS and MICEX exchanges.
