TGC-7 (Volzhskaya TGK)

TGC-7 (Volzhskaya TGK) was founded on August 1, 2005 in the framework of restructuring the Samara, Saratov, Ulyanovsk and Orenburg power systems. The main activities of TGK-7 are electricity and heats production, wholesale electricity trading and heats supply for communal and industrial cleints.

Volzhskaya TGK includes generation and heat network assets of Samaraenergo, Saratovenergo, Ulyanovskenergo and Orenburg TGK (since March 9, 2007). In total, Volzhskaya TGK comprises 21 power plants with a total capacity of 6,879.7 MW for electricity and 30,687.2 Gcal for heats. Volzhskaya TGK is the second largest TGK in Russia in terms of installed capacity. Shares are traded on RTS (TGKG) and MICEX (VTGK). Federal Grid Co owns 32.2% of the shares.

Shareholder structure: Depositary and Clearing Company owns 47.96%, Depositary and Corporate Technologies 34.21%, National Depositary Centre 8.54%, ING Bank Eurasia owns 2.19%, minorities - 7.1%. Shares traded on RTS and MICEX exchanges.
