Integrated Energy Systems
Integrated Energy Systems is Russia's largest private power supply and gas distribution company. The company was established in December 2002.As a strategic investor, IES manages and holds strategic/majority interest in four generating companies (TGC-5, TGC-6, TGC-9, VoTGC) and has an investment fund that consolidates the control shares of regional grid conpanies. IES is the fifth largest power supply company in Russia in terms of installed capacity; the total installed capacity of IES-Holding's power plants is about 16,000 MW. The Company is also the largest Russian heat producer. The company's principal areas of business include power generation, development of generating facilities, energy trading; retail heat and power distribution and gas transportation.
