Committee of the Federal Council for Natural Monopolies

Commission of the Federal Council for Natural Monopolies was established on January 30, 2002 and comprises 41 members of the Federal Council. The activity of the Commission coordinates legislation that regulates the activity of natural monopolies and development of competition ensuring the interests of both state and society during economic reforms.

The Commission comprises 5 Subcommissions: Subcommission for electricity and heats, Subcommission for railway transport, sea ports and airports, Subcommission for communications, Subcommission for development of oil and gas sector, pipeline transport and terminal operation, and the Subcommission for general issues of reforming natural monopolies.
